Copying/
Music Preparation
With experience of musical preparation
for shows, tours, TV, and radio, I have been a
musical copyist for almost 35 years. I use Finale
2008/ Sibelius now, but can still copy by hand if
required (although a hand-written finish can be

fill out the performance of your musical
arrangements or a full-blown backing track, I can
help. I do not keep a catalogue of tracks as each

CD
Album Production
Selling your own CD on a gig/show can
work out very lucrative. I can definitely help
here! Using backing tracks recorded here in my
studio, I can accommodate solo artistes ( singers,
instrumentalists) on site and produce a CD album

Working
Cruise-ships for the first time?
It's a problem many acts are encountering
when taking work on cruise-ships for the
first time. Cruise work generally doesn't
allow the use of backing-tracks/
playback. Suddenly you're faced with
having to have charts written for your
whole act ! You usually only have your
first cruise to impress.
It makes sense, then, to have your charts
written professionally. You get very
little rehearsal time so they have to
work first time. It could be that you
can't perform you BIG numbers because the
"arranger" you used wrote
unplayable charts.
I've written whole acts for many artists
doing their first cruises. They always
return with glowing reports from the
bands on how well my charts worked!
