Selling your own CD on a gig/show can work out very lucrative. I can definitely help here! Using backing tracks recorded here in my studio, or your own pre-recorded  backing tracks, I can accommodate solo artistes ( singers, instrumentalists) on site and produce a CD album for you.

    Apart from physically selling the CDs............. everything!  Creating the backing tracks, recording your vocals or solo instrument tracks, mixing, mastering , having the artwork designed and arranging for the CD duplication. I can also provide overnight accommodation here at Crabtree Cottage. (situated in the middle of beautiful Essex countryside).

 How Will It Sound?

     The best illustration of my work is the work itself. My most recent production was for flautist Clare Langan , her "Memories" album.

Clare's album was recorded here in Spring 2008. The orchestral      arrangements were created using only the best quality commercial multisamples. (Garritan, VSL , Peter  Siedlaczec etc..).       Most artists sell their CDs after their show for around £10.00. Production costs obviously vary depending on the complexity of the music, but as a guide, an album recorded here costs approx. £4000.00 for a 12 track album.. This is fully inclusive of backing tracks and 2 days recording for the artist. CD duplication / artwork costs are extra so add around £900.00 for the first order of 1000 CDs. So the profit on your first batch of 1000 is £10,000- £4900 = £5100. There is, however, an MCPS license charge of  around 7% (No license fee is payable on your original pieces of music, nor tunes that are out of copyright.). On your second order of 1000 the profits get really interesting, with around £9.00 profit per CD sold.
